How to Bid

1. In order to bid you need to have a google account (gmail, yahoo, BlogSpot) so that I know who to collect the donation from and who to deliver the item to. (No anonymous bids will be accepted). I have recently changed the settings to allow anyone to bid but you must include an email or facebook link with your bid or it will be deleted. I'll see how this goes and may have to revert back to my original settings if I find it is not working.
2. To place a bid on an item just type a comment with the amount you are willing to donate to acquire that item.  Please note the minimum bid requirements.
3. To outbid someone just place a comment after their comment with a higher bid. Please note that the minimum bid increment is usually $1.00. This is to prevent people from outbidding someone by mere pennies.
4. The highest bidder at the time the auction closes on Friday, July 11th at 12pm NOON will be the winner of that item.
5. Winners can then combine their purchases into one donation amount on our Canada Helps Giving Page and get a tax receipt or you can pay cash directly to me upon receipt of item(s).
6. All items not sold (plus many more items) will be sold at our Yard Sale on Saturday, July 12th, between 9am-1pm. The specific address in South Georgetown will be posted at the end of the auction.
7. If you live in the GTA (including but not limited to Toronto, Georgetown, Milton, Acton, Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, and Etobicoke) I will arrange a day in the following week that I can deliver the items to you. Anyone outside of the GTA will have to arrange/pay for their own pick up or shipping of the item(s) or you can pick them up during our Yard Sale on Saturday, July 12th between 9am-1pm.
